Hi,
As you probably know, I’ve been a casual runner for most of my life but I feel like I’m ready to really challenge myself. I decided to run the Boston marathon in April.
I’m entering as a member of the team that’s raising money for the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary Whatever I can raise will be earmarked specifically for their cancer program - it was the doctors at Mass Eye and Ear who successfully removed cancer from my friend Brooke Cobb.
I am committing what I can raise toward their cancer program for another, even more personal, reason. In December my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His prognosis is not good and I want to run for him too.
I would greatly appreciate your contributing to this cause, and hope you will mention this to friends and family who might be able to help as well. It is easy to give through the web at (https://www.firstgiving.com/tomrassweiler). There are a couple other ways outlined below.
