My baby girl has Rett Syndrome. This means she probably will never talk, never walk and never develop like most children. But she has the smile and laugh that can make anyone melt.

Rett Syndrome is caused by a gene mutation which has been reversed in a mouse model. Clinical trials were started on humans this year and could possibly conclude with results as early as 2013.
