Tiffany Barrow-Rogers's Fundraising Page
Greetings Family and Friends!
As most of you know, I have a long standing relationship as a guardian and supporter of animal rescue organizations. I can't think of a better way to combine my love of running and animals than putting it towards a good cause (paws)!
With that, I will be dedicating my training and fundraising toward running the Marine Corps Marathon on October 25th this year - not only helping our soldiers, but the Washington Humane Society, two causes close to my heart.
One of the amazing links between people and animals that the Washington Humane Society promotes is the Dog Tags program - where injured soldiers recovering nearby at Walter Reed Army Medical Center come to WHS' Behavior & Learning Center to enroll in a certificate-based, animal behavior & training course. The program benefits everyone involved. The injured soldiers gain an opportunity to launch a new career working working with animals or enjoy recreational time with the animals of WHS. The shelter animals benefit from the positive interactions with the soldiers, and their new found skills will help them suceed in their adoptive homes. WHS offers this vocational program free of charge to the recovering soldiers of Walter Reed.
As part of my commitment to be on the Washington Humane Society's team, I have promised to raise at least $1500 by September 30th, 2009. Please help me by joining me in this effort. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. All donations are tax deductible.
Thank you for supporting me and all of our best friends! Remember, no amount is too small and feel free to pass it along to others that might be interested

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
