One way I raised money last year for this Triathlon was by doing what you see in the picture above!! YES...a pie throwing booth. Very messy but much more fun than I had ever anticipated. And who knew there were so many people who would pay money to throw a pie at me :)

My love for these children began in 2000 when I was in Romania at a street children shelter. COCI helps this shelter as well as many others around the world. The impact we have on children is impossible to fully describe and truly gives children in need an opportunity to succeed.

I have been raising money for these children for 5 years. I like to have FUN while doing it and invite each and everyone of you to do the Triathlon this year with me. This will be my FOURTH year and I have not killed or injured myself while doing it so believe you can too :)

Either way- please know that the money you donate to this wonderful organization WILL be directly used for wonderful children who are not nearly as fortunate as we are.

I will update you all after this years triathlon with pictures. I can only hope for better weather this year! Last year- the Rambo theme song was going through my head while I was running in 2 feet of water and biking in torrential winds :)
