On July 28, 2008, I'm setting off on my bike in Denver, CO, and will keep pedaling until I arrive back home in Milwaukee, WI.

I'm trying to raise pledges of $1,158 -- the estimated total distance of the trip -- on behalf of the Wisconsin Humane Society. Because I have a soft spot for dogs, especially ones who need help.

The Humane Society is in need of a lot of help right now, after being inundated with sick and injured animals displaced from recent flooding in the midwest. Stormy and Persephone and Rain are just a few of the animals that will benefit from your donation.
