It’s that time of year again.  I will be riding in the 2012 Police Unity Tour.  Last year I hounded many of you to support me with donations.  Through the generosity of your good will, I was able to surpass my goal of $2,000.  This year I aim to go higher in an attempt to reach $2,500.

Every year hundreds of law enforcement officers die in the line of duty.  Nothing can ever replace them to their family and friends.  The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C. allows for their memories to live on and honor these men and women forever. 

The Police Unity Tour, is a non-profit organization,  designed to help raise awareness and financial support for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and Museum. Each officer participating is required to raise a minimum of $1800.00 to make the 300+ mile trip. 

All though the journey is long and challenging, through fundraising and physical training, I know that my effort reminds all Americans of the ultimate sacrifice made by so many law enforcement officers.  Making our motto simple: "We ride for those who died".
