Timothy's Race is the focus of this Fundraising Page. In July 2005 we found out that our son has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This disorder affects the muscle development in boys and ultimately robs them of their mobility and life itself. As we face the future together, we realize tackling this disorder head on is the only way we will ever find a cure.

I am running the Austin Marathon on February 19th, 2006 and I am asking you to commit to a minimum of $2.00 per mile I run. Since I am guaranteeing a strong finish, please start your donation at $52.40. The only way we can defeat this disorder is through research and your donation will go directly toward tests that will ultimately save young boys lives.

Beginning February 15th, if you are one of the next 25 people to give $100.00 you will receive a four course meal from Johnny Carino's Country Italian.  They are providing this charity meal as a way to support Timothy's Race.  Please indicate whether you are interested in being added to the donation list when you make your donation on line.
