Lovers and Friends,
Thanks for visiting my money making page. After reading this, I hope each and every one of will be willing and able to donate to this cause...
I work with some pretty sensational middle school students, in a pretty sensational after school program. The school I work at is a shoddy school, in a not so shoddy part of town. When I first started with Citizen Schools, I thought that I was going to live the good life...the campus was brightly painted, the trees were trimmed and the grass was green...One could easily expect a marlvelous experience to ensue.
After getting to know the school a bit more, you start to notice the pieces that just don't fit right. You hear stories of 7th graders bringing beers to school. You see kids displaying their colors and the teachers not necessarily knowing what they mean. There are parents that find nothing wrong about letting their kids walk home cold in the rain.
Those are the kids that I work with.
They remind me that there's plenty to be done to give them a level playing field when it comes time for them to make it on their own. I love the work that I do, and even though there's not much money in it, the feeling I get when I reflect on the days work before bedtime makes it's all worthwhile.

All I ask for is a dollar. ONE single $1 dollar from each person who reads this message. Times are tough, but I know you can spare one dollar.
$1 = 4 quarters=20 minutes parking downtown SF=a bag of hot cheetos=2 tacos from Jack=5 bananas at Trader Joe's
With that, I hope you'll find the time to take out your CC and make magic happen by givin my nonprofit some of your support. You give Tim Tararug's Money Makin Page some money, and Tim Tararug makes sure these kids have a good experience while in middle school. We could use the money for buying slurpees from 7/11 or erasers and pens or VTA bus passes for field trips or things of that nature. Your money will be well spent.
Many thanks for the support -- and please feel free to create aliases in the case that you feel you may be judged for only contributing just a dollar. Also, feel free to forward this to as many people you want, all I'm asking for is a single $dollar$ from each one of them!
* The YouTube video on this page, starring the sensational students I work with was created by volunteer teacher Vannack Uy and myself. After you're done donating your dollar, leave a comment on the video for the kids! Thanks...
