Thank you for visiting my extreme Personal Fundraising Page for Special Olympics Virginia's Polar Plunge ® Winter Festival 2011. This is myself and my Son Matthew's 5th year plunging for Special Olympics. We (Area 11) were the number one fundraising team in the state two years ago and last year we came in a close second, please help us return to the top this year. Remember that all of what we raise stays in our area (Area 11) so your generiousity really appreciated and needed.

Special Olympics changes lives by benefiting more than 9,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities across our Commonwealth and impacts communities in many powerful ways. Your donation to Special Olympics Virginia through this event is vital in making transformation possible and changing views about people with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics Virginia uses sports as a catalyst to change society’s perceptions and treatment of people with intellectual disabilities.
