As many of you know I will be running the New York City Marathon this fall. I will be running as part of a team for charity representing Covenant House New York which is the nation’s largest adolescent care agency serving homeless, runaway and at risk youths with locations throughout the United States, Canada and Latin America. Covenant House provides immediate meals, change of clothes and shelter. They also provide multiple support services to help kids toward economic independence and break the cycle of homelessness. Some of the services provided include healthcare, mother and child residence programs, street outreach, substance abuse prevention, vocational training and employment services.
