Hi Everyone!

Can you believe I am 7 years old already and this will be my 7th York Area Down Syndrome Association Buddy Walk!  My family and I are so excited to walk on October 8th!  Please join my Team at Lehr Park in Dover, PA from 10 AM to 2 PM to promote acceptance, inclusion, and empowerment of individuals with Down syndrome!  The Walk has lots of fun activities, especially for kids! Or you may choose to make a donation on this webpage! 

Here's an update on me - Christina Lia Spangler (AKA "Cookie" to family and relatives):

*I successfully finished Kindergarten (II) this past spring and I just started 1st Grade in a typical classroom.

*I started reading this year and can sound out words for Kidwriting!

*I performed in my first official dance recital on stage!

*I am using more sentences and longer words!

*I still love Scooby Doo and Disney princesses!

*I love the ocean at LBI and the pool!
