Special Olympics's mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities; giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

I'm personally supporting Special Olympics because:
1) Promotes a healthy & active lifestyle
2) Provides a supportive environment where individuals and families with unique challenges can have fun, build skills and work towards a common goal
3) Builds diversity and inclusion in our communities
