Your commitment to support the Police Unity Tour and the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial (NLEOM) is a symbol of your gratefulness to the law enforcement community and the officers who were killed in the line of duty. Once again, we are scheduled to participate in the annual bicycle trek from the Tidewater area to the site of the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial in Washington D.C. This challenge seems like a small personal sacrifice in comparison to the families whose lives have been forever changed by the loss of a uniformed loved one. The Police Unity Tour motto simply states, "We ride for those who died" and this ride ensures the life and sacrifice of every American officer slain in the line of duty is never forgotten.
