Tom Karlya's Fundraising Page
Welcome to MichCanSka 2010! This website is dedicated to the MichCanSka trip across North America to raise money to benefit the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation. On February 15th 2010 67 riders left Sault Ste. Marie Michigan and began their quest via snowmobile to help support the discovery of a cure to diabetes. Covering over 4000 miles of some of the most beautiful landscapes, MichCanSka 2010 participants will end their journey 20 days later in Tok, Alaska. Although this trip will be a great adventure and experience for all those involved, we want to remind everyone that a significant cause is benefiting. The Diabetes Research Institute is a world-recognized research facility located on the campus of the University of Miami, where great strides have been made by the medical staff and researchers to defeat this deadly disease. Through the MichCanSka 2010 event we hope to raise awareness and the necessary funds to help them reach their goals. Please support this event. PLEASE MAKE A DONATION TODAY. Be part of Project Type Zero; the hope for diabetes free tomorrow! Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
(P.S. Please forward this to anyone else who might donate, too! Thanks!)
