SPECIAL OLYMPICS KANSAS

Polar Plunge and Strut - Kansas City Metro Kansas City,  Kansas

Tom Lynch's Fundraising Page

Massive Ice Shelf 'May Collapse without Warning'

The Ross Ice Shelf, a massive piece of ice the size of France, could break off without warning causing a dramatic rise in sea levels, warn New Zealand scientists working in Antarctica.

In a less spectacular fashion, I, along with other officers from the Shawnee Police Department will be jumping into the lake at Shawnee Mission Park at noon on January 31 to raise money for the Kansas Special Olympics. This is the first year the Shawnee Police Department is participating in the Polar Bear Plunge. It looks like lunacy, I mean fun !!! Please feel free to come out on January 31 and watch as we freeze our keisters off for a good cause.

Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.
