Greetings from Project green Jungle, and thanks for visiting our fundraising page. Thanks for stopping by!
We have been busy organizing the Lionfish Harvesting and Reef Monitoring Project. We have a lot of really good concise goals that will help us reach the answers we need to move forward with the invasive lionfish. Studies throughout the Southwestern Caribbean are important to find out exactly where the Lionfish came from and where it is going. If they spread through and up the coast of Western Central America and California, a whole new set of problems will come to light.
Our field work is busier than ever, and the month of September will see us in the water or the jungle almost every day. Our two Responsible Commercial Projects
have had their respective conservation activities running full speed for months. As the Conservation Locomotive picks up speed and momentum, our overhead increases until we are at full operating capacity. Currently we are running around 25-50% and still getting so much accomplished! We need to achieve a fully operational status by January 1st, 2011 and we need your help to do it
As you can see, our fundraising goal is $5000, and with this amount we can fully start harvesting lionfish and start studies along the Panama Canal, and the other reefs of the region.
Please help us out and conserve the world's ecosystems by donating to us. We are a project of The Florida International Teaching Zoo, a federal 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation, making your donation tax deductible in the United States.
