As a member of the committee organizing this year's and last year's Kidney Walk, I am acutely aware of the challenges we face in Western New York regarding kidney disease.  Events such as this Walk and your generous contributions are crucial to raising awareness of a largely-undetectible disease, providing screening opportunities for early detection of this disease, and spreading the word about the importance of organ donation. My sister-in-law and husband's grandparents have kidney related condiitons.  I am personally grateful that you have chosen to make a contribution.
