Go Special Olympics Team North Carolina!

I am very excited and honored to have been selected to compete in athletics at the first-ever Special Olympics National Games at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa . After seven years of Special Olympics competition I’m very excited to represent North Carolina in the pentathlon at the national level. I will be among 3,500 athletes from all 50 states and the District of Columbia who will showcase their athletic talent this summer, July 2-7.

Special Olympics athletes are never required to pay a fee to participate but it will cost approximately $2,000 to send me to Iowa .  I am asking for your support in helping to see my dreams come true.  Your donation to Special Olympics North Carolina will provide for vital items such as travel, uniforms and equipment.  Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.
This experience will be especially memorable for me as my father will also be traveling as a Team North Carolina coach. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate, too!
