Tony Lawless's Fundraising Page
Dear Friends and Family,
It is that time of year when I ask for your support for a program that has changed my life and the lives of hundreds of others.
I have been involved with Maine Handicapped Skiing for six years now. This year I am training to be a coach for the race team, under the direction of my coach and mentor John Freeman. I am volunteering for the regular program and racing in competitions myself.
I will also be involved with the "Veterans No Boundaries" program. We have a four day weekend planned this year with events all day long; skiing, bobsledding and sharp shooting are just a few.
As both a volunteer in the regular program and a racer, I have been fortunate to enjoy two rewarding aspects of Maine Handicapped Skiing. Adding the third element of coaching for the race team will allow me to give back to a program that has done so much to enrich my life. I am constantly amazed at the determination and dedication of the staff and volunteers that give their time and energy to make the dreams of so many physically challenged people come true. “They are truly "Dream Makers".
Your generous support through this annual fund raising event allows Maine Handicapped Skiing to provide services free of charge to anyone with a physical disability. The fact that this program is free makes it unique in the US.
This is your chance to be a "Dream Maker" as well. Please give to this awesome program that offers so much to the growing numbers of physically challenged people, both military and civilian.
Please feel free to forward this on to anyone you think might be interested!
Thanks in advance for you support!!!!!
Tony
