The Facts:
Water related diseases are the leading cause of death in the world.

Diseases spurred by poor sanitation and by drinking water from contaminated sources kill more people each day than any other disease in the world.

1 out of every 7 people in the world don't have access to a safe source of water. That's almost 1 billion people in the world who struggle to survive because of a lack of clean water. 2.5 billion don't have proper sanitation.
Every 15 seconds a child dies from water related diseases.
These are people in all parts of the world: Central and South America, Africa, Asia.

Providing clean water and sanitation helps solve so many other problems -- improving health, alleviating poverty, securing food sources, enhancing women's rights, and increasing education-- that it is the only Millenium Development Goal that has been identified to contribute to solving all the rest. 

What we do:
The 8th grade class at St. Matthew's Episcopal Day School is raising money to help as many people as we can get the basic necessity of clean water and sanitation. 

What we ask:

Please contribute at least $25 per person (enough to bring clean water and sanitation to a person for life) and send this link to at least two other people.
All the money we raise goes directly to WaterPartners to bring clean water and sanitation to those in need.
