Welcome!
This is my 3rd year riding for life in beautiful Ithaca NY! Please sponsor me and make this year a successful Ride!
So why have I been riding in the RFL for 3 years? Well I never could have continued it without all the wonderful support over the years from all of you out there. But there are more serious reasons:
This event is about HIV/AIDS and our ongoing fight to manage and hopefully control it someday.
New York is #1 in the U.S. in AIDS cases, and AIDS is the #2 killer of adults 25-44 years old in NY
6000 people in the world die every day from AIDS
It is about giving hope and support to the hundreds of people who struggle with HIV and AIDS in our community.
It is about making sure our communities receive honest, accurate and up to date information about HIV/AIDS and how to stay safe, reduce risk and make healthy choices.
It is about promoting and sharing understanding; the understanding that AIDS is an incurable, but preventable disease.
And finally it's about social justice: Everyone should receive equal care regardless of their income, status, insurance and race. Healthcare is a huge debate in this country and it shouldn't be. We should have equal rights and healthcare for everyone. But it isn't that way and the Ride helps level the playing field for many people.
Please help and consider sponsoring me.
I plan on making Ithaca or the surrounding Southern Tier area my home in the not too distant future. The Ride for Life gives me a great opportunity to give back to my community and the people and place that I care about.

Below you can see the names of those good folks that have donated offline and more information about STAP and their tireless fight for help and hope when confronted with this disease. If you want to know more about how I feel about it please visit my previous years as those pages are quite clear on my feelings.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your consideration in supporting this cause through my ride once again. And anyone who was thinking of sending a graduation present, if you could donate to the ride instead, I would greatly appreciate it.
See you on the road!
