Hannah's Army Angels for 2011 Knoxville Ride for Kids
Hi. You are on Hannah Lawson's Fundraising Page for the Knoxville Ride for Kids (which raises money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation). Thank you for visiting my page.
Did you know that ten children are diagnosed with a brain tumor every day? On February 12, 2008, I was one of those kids. I was diagnosed with an anaplastic ependymoma. That's a malignant brain tumor. After surgery and lots of radiation therapy and a diagnosis of radiation necrosis, I'm doing very well.
I want to find a cure for brain tumors in children, but I need lots of help. You can help by making a donation, riding in the Knoxville Ride for Kids (on my Hannah's Army Angels team if you want), and by spreading the word.
If you promise to tell ten people about this site and ask them to make a donation even if it's just $10, then I promise to keep fighting the brain cancer monster and I'll keep working to find a cure for pediatric brain tumors. Well let's be honest. I'm going to do that anyway, but it sure would be nice if I had your help.
I hope to see you on July 31, 2011, at the Knoxville Ride for Kids!
P.S. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
