I am doing this 5K in memory of my brother Brian or as my kids named him "Uncle F*?#ing Brian".  I feel the need to help other families to avoid loosing someone they love to melanoma.  This 5K is a small thing, but if we all do a small thing - together we can do great things.

Brian's letter to all of us:

To all my Family and Friends,
I love each and every one of you. It is a simple message, but true. I have known the GREATEST people in the world. I have been surrounded by the love, light and happiness that comes with knowing you. Being blessed with this amazing fortune I have come to realize a very great secret in this life and wanted to be sure to share it with all of you. Always add to your life! Add friends, hobbies, trips, concerts, games – ANYTHNG, but never lose them. Fill your life with new people and things everyday – your cup can never be too full! It is my hope that you will all exchange numbers/e-mails because you are all the greatest people in the world and I want everyone to experience the love that I have in my life. So please celebrate my life and keep on dancing – music is my savior, see you on the dance floor.
