Hey everyone!  Well, I am actually running the Chicago marathon!  Who would have thunk it, eh?  I want to do this for a variety of reasons, but the first would be because I want to be healthy.  This is an incentive for me to take charge of my health in order that I might be around for my family.  Secondly, it's a personal goal that I have had, to run a marathon once in my life.  Thirdly, I wanted to sign on in order to help people in need.  And World Vision does that. 

World Vision works to tackle the root causes of poverty by working with children, families, and their communities to provide things like clean water, health care, nutritious food, education, and economic opportunities.
