Most of us will agree that a vacation helps our mood and well-being. I believe that a worry-free vacation can help children with life-threatening illnesses get better too. When I worked at Universal Studios in orlando in 2001, i saw first-hand what a difference Give Kids The World made to these kids and their famlies.

Because of that, I am raising money for the "Coasting For Kids" event, benefitting Give Kids The World.  Your pledge will help provide a cost-free magical Orlando vacation for children with life-thretening illnesses, and their famlies.  They will get to spend a week at the Give Kids The World Village, and enjoy fun times at many of Central Florida's popular attractions, like Walt Disney World and Universal Studios.  They will truely get pampered.

During last year's Coasting For Kids event at Kings Island, I met a wonderful family who visited the Village with their now teenage son. I got to spend some time with them, and see even deeper into how special this organization is.

I may decide that I can attend the Coasting For Kids coaster marathon event at Kings Island on July 24. I will use this page and my Facebook to keep everyone updated.

Each year over 6,500 children from all 50 states and around the world experience the Village. With your support, we can make a difference in the lives of children and their families.
