I would like to add that I raised an additional $315 that is not listed here, because it was in the form of cash and checks. I raised a total of $540 for this event.
Thank you for visiting my "Coasting For kids" fundraising page!
I am participating in the "Coasting For Kids" event, benefiting Give Kids The World. I will tentatively be marathon riding "The Racer" roller coaster at Kings Island, for a number of hours, on July 29! Your pledge will help provide families of children with life-threatening illnesses with a cost-free magical vacation to the Give Kids The World Village, where the families enjoy their own fun times at Central Florida's attractions. Each year over 6,500 children from all 50 states and around the world experience the Village. With your support, we can make a difference in the lives of children and their families.
I have seen this charity at work, first-hand, while I was employed by Universal Studios Orlando in 2000 and 2001. I believe in Give Kids The World, and think that it is a very worthwhile cause. I believe that giving children who suffer a life-threatening illness an amazing Orlando vacation lifts their spirits and helps them to fight their illness more effectively. I hope you will help me to give to this wonderful charity. First Giving will send you a receipt for you records, and your donation to Give Kids The World can be a tax write-off.
Donating through this site is simple, fast, and totally secure. Thank you for your support. Please forward this to anyone who you think may also want to help support Coasting For Kids.
In addition to supporting me, I invite you to join me. Register today to participate in this event or one in your area. I hope to see you there!
