Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
In 2010 I road 294 Miles on the 3 day Challenge ride, as well as riding the first day with the main group. I was able to raise approximately $1850 for donation to the memorial. I also was able to attend the Candlelight memorial which was a rewarding and yet humbling experience.
In 2011 I was again slated to attend the tour and help raise funds. A family emergency led me to sideline the effort and I am starting again in 2012. This year is dedicated to who I had been given the honor to ride for in 2011. I am riding in memory of Officer James Bonneau of the Jackson Police Department. Officer Bonneau was killed on March 9th, 2010. While investigating a domestic incident Officer Bonneau went to the suspects house with a Blackman Township Officer, PSO Darin McIntosh. During the contact, a gun fight ensued and both Officers were wounded, Officer Bonneau dying shortly after. The suspect was also killed during the fight.
In order for me to honor Officer Bonneau's sacrifice, I must raise $1750 in donations for the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
