Although Dick and Rick Hoyt are unable to join us for this year's race, we have assembled of team of more than 30 runners pushing at least 18 children and young adults with disabilities. In Team Hoyt spirit, Team Hoyt VB is bringing awareness that the disabled can be integrated into the most challenging able bodied activities. Please help us achieve our collective team fundraising goal of $30,000. With a minimum of $10,000 being forwarded to St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children, donations will also help the Hoyt Foundation, Tidewater Autism Society of America, Foundation for Prader-Willi Research,The Noblemen (formerly Robin Hoods of VB) and Team Hoyt VB.
Team Hoyt VB will designate it's funds to buy additional adult jogging strollers, capable of carrying young adults who weigh up to 200 lbs (we currently have 9 of these, which cost $900 each, but need twice that many).
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
