I've done this previous years as a member of the cat team!  Although I'm still a big cat fan (and have volunteered regularly as a Personal Care Technician for RESCUE's homeless cats for 6 years now), I thought I should give our dog some exposure also (my cats insisted I include their photos also though as they are very photogenic so you can view my rescued kitties at the bottom of this page).

So - this year I'm doing this to honor our dog - Misty.  We will never know her  complete story, but we do know that her life is good now.  We adopted her from RESCUE over 5 years ago, and she's brought us so much happiness!  She loves everyone and shows her gratefulness to us every day.  We look at her and can't believe that someone let her go - and let all that love go to another family! 

Sadly this year, there are so many stories like Misty's....so many families are abandoning their dogs, and cats....and organizations like RESCUE are busier than ever trying to give as many of them as possible a second chance.  We have saved over 9300 animals so far.   We would so appreciate your help so we can keep saving them.  Any small amount is appreciated and will help with medical costs (these are sometimes very high for these abandoned cats and dogs) and boarding until we can find them their forever home.
