Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.
As many of you know, my sister, Cheryl Sheridan, was diagnosed with Scleroderma and has overcome and endured more obstacles relating to her health than any of us will in our entire lifetime. Her determination, courage, and ever-uplifting spirit continue to encourage others to fight this disease as she does daily.
For those of you who do not know about this disease, it is a chronic connective tissue disease classified as one of the autoimmune rheumatic diseases. The symptoms of scleroderma vary greatly from individual to individual and the effects can range from very mild to life-threatening. The exact cause is still unknown. The Scleroderma Foundation - Tri State Chapter is a non-profit organization that supports medical research to find a cure for this serious disease.
On June 12th, I will be participating in a walk at Riverfront Park in Albany, in support of the Scleroderma Foundation --"Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma", in honor of my sister, Cheryl. Please consider sponsoring me -- we CAN make a difference! Even the smallest donation helps -- or join me for the walk on June 12th!
With your donation, continued medical research can abound and continue the efforts to find a cure!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
