I am pledging to run/walk three relay-for-life events per year in various locations in honor of all my family members that have passed away from cancer, but especially my dear mom.

Relay-for-Life events raise money for cancer research and are sponsored by the American Cancer Society.  In these events, teammates take turns running/walking around a school track for twelve hours.  My plan is to stay on the track for the full 12 hours (with only short bath room breaks) in each of my events.
