Dear Family and Friends,

I am asking for your support in a cause that is very important to me. As a volunteer, I have sadly seen dogs rescued in the worst conditons. Most are malnourished, injured,neglected, and in dire need of medical attention. It costs nearly $500.00 to nurse a dog back to health. These poor animals DO NOT ask for this type of treatment.  It is up to us to help.

Walter, is one of the bassets saved from the horrible Montague County Seizure. How heartbreaking is this? How could someone treat an animal like this and practically leave them to die? They were confined in their crates, not knowing what it was to be loved and cared for. 11 other bassets were rescued as well.  They suffered broken bones, cut ears and  skin irriations beyond belief. We are working on getting them healthy and into LOVING homes where they can begin their lives as pets. It's going to be a long road, but, most deserving.
