Many of you already know that I was diagnosed with Epilepsy a few months ago.  Epilepsy affects over 50 million people worldwide or approximately 1 in 100 people. That's more than multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and Parkinson's disease combined.

I am going to be helping raise awareness about this medical condition, and also help raise funds for the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida during the upcoming 2012 Annual Orlando Epilepsy Walk. 

The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida is a 100% local, IRS recognized not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons affected by Epilepsy. 

I will be participating in their annual walk this year, which will be at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday April 21, 2012, at Cypress Grove Park in Orlando.  The park is located at 209 W. Holden Avenue Orlando, Florida 32839, if you would like to join us!
