On October 12, 2008, I'll be running in the Chicago Marathon to achieve a dream - run a marathon as part of Team World Vision and raise money for a very worthwhile cause.

World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice.  They work to tackle the root causes of poverty by providing things like clean water, health care, nutritious food, education and economic opportunities.

Please join me in giving love and hope to those most in need in our world.  Be a blessing and put a smile on the face of a child and their family.  Run with me in spirit and support my efforts.  I know you'll be blessed in return.
