GUARDIAN ANGEL BASSET RESCUE, INC.

2006 Illinois Waddle

Building for the Future

Hey, it's us, Barney and Shelby, again!  It's that time of year where we ask your help for our basset buddies at Guardian Angel Basset Rescue. On Sunday, September 17th, we're walking in the 2006 Illinois Waddle. Chris will be driving the Corvette to lead the parade!

Because of  help from friends like you, GABR has now rescued well over 2500 Basset Hounds. In addition to directly saving the lives of Basset Hounds, we are now reaching out to other Animal Rescues and developing innovative ideas on how to further advance the Rescue movement for all our furry friends.

This past  year, the members of Guardian Angel Basset Rescue (GABR) raised over $25,000 to assist the dogs and cats left homeless by hurricane Katrina.  In addition to the financial assistance, we were able to send a truck full of donated food, water and veterinarian supplies.

Of course, none of this can happen without funding. We need your pledges so that we can Waddle along with the other bassets in this year's parade.  100% of every dollar you pledge goes to helping in the rescue of  more of our long eared friends.  You simply click on the link to donate. Enter your credit card number on the secure page and you're done!

We are also raffling off a '68 convertible with a 427 and a 4-speed!  You can buy tickets at http://www.bassetrescue.org/corvette.htm

Come on down to Dwight and visit us in the Retail Tent. We hope to see you there.
