This is a picture taken at the 2007 Waddle.  It's Valerie with our adopted bassets Barney and Shelby and Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald from Animal Planet's Emergency Vets.  The Basset Bash and Waddle is a fun time, not only for the people who come to watch the parade, but it gives our wonderful group of volunteer rescuers a chance to see the rescued basset hounds with their new families.  Guardian Angel Basset Rescue through it's volunteers rescues on average 300 basset hounds a year.  In addition, because of the sucess of our organization, we have been able to offer assistance to other animal rescues.

In order to raise money to continue our rescue efforts and to provide the rescued basset hounds with the medical care they require, we  have the Waddle Parade in Dwight Illinois on Sunday, September  21st.

We know that people are facing tough times right now moneywise, but that only means that because of lack of money, more animals will be thrown out of their homes and into the streets, and our rescue efforts will be needed more than ever.

With this in mind, won't you please sponsor  Barney and Shelby in this year's Waddle?  No donation is too small!
