Dear_Everyone,  On April 5th I will be participating in the 8th Spinning Marathon to benefit Special Olympics Vermont. This high-energy event involves six hours of indoor Spinning. I am taking part in this event because I believe in and support the hundreds of athletes from across the state of Vermont who are striving to be their best. The mission of Special Olympics Vermont is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-style events for children and adults with cognitive disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. You can help me by contributing to my fundraising efforts. Your tax-deductible gift will make a difference to the Special Olympics athletes in Vermont who benefit from the Spinning Marathon. I would greatly appreciate any donation you can make. (Checks may be made payable to Special Olympics Vermont). Before every competition, the Special Olympics Vermont athletes recite the following Oath: "Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt."
