Vanessa Maltin Weisbrod's Gluten-Free Fundraising Page
The new Celiac Disease Program at Children's National Medical Center is paving the way for treating both the physical and mental needs of children and teens with Celiac Disease. Led by Dr. John Snyder and supported by a dynamic, energetic and compassionate staff, the Celiac Disease Program is focusing heavily on disease recognition, diagnosis and treatment as well as how the disease impacts children and teenagers' mental health. Because of it's unique 5-prong approach, the new program is quickly becoming a national leader in the field and empowering its young patients to own their diagnosis and grow up as healthy individuals at home, at school and in every other walk of life.
Two very generous donors have agreed to donate $5,000 to support gluten-free education programs at Children's National Medical Center if the program can raise an additional $5,000 from the public. It's important to note that any amount, whether small or large is extremely beneficial. Even $5 or $10 helps us reach the goal.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
All the best,
Vanessa
