Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Farm Sanctuary! It's so true that even $1.00 helps and so does passing on this link to others.
You can see Farm Sanctuary online to learn more about why I do this. Their website has photos and videos that explain better than any words I might come up with.
"Your donation will help Farm Sanctuary speak out against inhumane farming practices, prosecute factory farms, stockyards and individuals who perpetuate this cruelty, rescue farm animals from abuse, and help the public understand how special these animals are." - Gene Baur
President and Co-Founder of Farm Sanctuary
The website for the 50 mile trail run is here. Though your donation money goes to Farm Santuary your donation of compassion and generosity also goes to me too, and stays with me on every training run and in the race and I thank you for that. It helps, it really does.
I've been trying to keep up on a online journal of training and food here. Posts won't be frequent or elaborate, just a paragraph every week or so; there is a link on that page to my Daily Mile run log. You can also contact at that web page or drydencommunitygarden@gmail.com if you have any questions on vegan and raw recipe ideas or growing your own veggies at home or at the Dryden Community Garden.
For running information you can also check out No Meat Athlete . com. A great place to learn about vegan nutrition and endurance sports at the same time. That's where I started on my first marathon training.
Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts for the animals. Many thanks for your support-- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
The race is only 30 miles from Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen, NY:
