This year’s walk is going to be in memory of my dear friend Hidee, who left the Davis farm and my life way too soon. Last year the morning of the walk she wouldn’t eat her breakfast. She got worse the next day and we were at the emergency clinic. She was diagnosed with severe pancreatitis and did not recover. In an effort to take the sting out of last year’s painful memory, I want to raise a lot of money for the shelter animals in her name.
