Well, it's that time of year again and our Big Brothers and Big Sisters are counting on we bowlers to get out there and let people know how important is it to support their programs.  In 2011Big Brothers and Sisters in our little community of Park County served over 100 kids:  70% of them  from low-income to poverty level households,  60% from single family homes,  20% from parents that are currently incarcerated,  25% from families of substance abuse.  But, after one year of partnering with our wonderful Bigs: 91% increased their self condidence! 84% increased their ability to express their feelings! 83% improved their relationship with adults! 75% improved their attitudes toward school!  And, 43% decreased their tendency towards school delinquency!  We must remember that these are the people who will someday shape our world, and we need to do everything we can to prepare them  for that daunting task.  So please dig deeply for these children and know  that you have helped build a foundation for their future and ours.
