Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, created in memory of my mother-in-law, Sybil R. Humphreys, who lost her life to Pancreatic Cancer on October 22nd, 2011. I am trying to help my father-in-law in his overall effort to raise $57,000 for pancreatic cancer awareness and research.  $57,000 is a figure meant to symbolize the 57 days between Sybil’s diagnosis and her death.  Donating through this site is simple, secure, and the most efficient way to make a contribution to the fight against pancreatic cancer.

If we can raise at least $500, my friend Melissa Williams and I will dress up like Smurfs, complete with blue body paint, and run the Monument Avenue 10K on March 31, 2012, in an effort to "Smurf Out Pancreatic Cancer!"
