TCADP's Race to Heal Initiative

TCADP is piloting the Race to Heal Initiative (from October 7 to December 7, 2009), an online fundraising drive. Donations generated by the Race to Heal Initiative will support our efforts to build bridges to communities that have been impacted by violence and, in particular, to reach out to murder victim family members.
The Texas death penalty is a huge resource drain for our state. It is time we stopped wasting money and effort on this inefficient and ineffective public policy that does not properly serve the needs of the victims and their families and only creates more victims in the long run. Join me in supporting the only effective, statewide organization working to end the death penalty in Texas, the Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, www.tcadp.org.
