Cami and Nellie were both adopted from CARE.  Nellie came to us just a few weeks after I started volunteering there and Cami has been with us for about a year and a half. 

I have been volunteering at CARE for about 5 years.  I wear a few hats - walking and training dogs, serving as an adoption counselor, and coordinating the Junior Volunteer program.  The interesting thing is that even though I am pretty involved in this organization, there are people who put in far more hours each week than I do.  It's simply an amazing group of people who truly go above and beyond for the animals.

CARE is a 100% volunteer organization and all of the money from fund raisers goes directly toward helping the animals.  The Strut for Strays is one of our biggest fund raising events, so please give what you can.
