Whiskers of Hope, Inc. is an all volunteer not-for-profit charitable corporation. They rescue cats and kittens that have strayed, been found, or been abandoned. They operate a no-kill "virtual shelter" with all cats in the care of foster homes.

Where will the money go? This will give you some perspective:

For only one cat...It costs

- around $12 a month for food

- $15 litter-box needs per month

- $35/spay   $55/neuter (at the cheapest)

- around $80 for vaccinations

- a thorough physical exam is between $60-100

- Emmergency veterinary care can cost up to thousands
