My name is Victoria Ruff and I'm a volunteer with the Lewy Body Dementia Association. One of my tasks as volunteer is to spread awareness of the 2nd leading cause of degenerative dementia – Lewy Body Dementia (LBD). LBD is often under-diagnosed or misdiagnosed, since it shows similar symptoms to both Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.
Once again I'll be joining others who will be participating in the Allan D. Morrison 5K Run/Walk in Melrose, MA on Saturday, October 15, 2011.
