My toes almost froze off when I did this last year, but at least that means that Winter is still cold -- I'm plunging again to make sure it stays that way.

Regardless of which side of the climate debate you are on, there is no denying that our climate is changing, and that the effects have been and will continue to be catastrophic.  There is also no denying that we can reverse this trend by bringing the levels of CO2 in our atmosphere down to safe levels (350 parts per million).

To that end, I have set a goal of raising $350 for CCAN, one of the central groups in the fight against climate change.  Last year, through your generous support, I not only reached this goal but exceeded it (with your help I raised over $600).  Please help me do this again.

Again, you will be rewarded with the satisfaction of knowing that you are part of the movement to save the planet, as well as getting to see another round of pictures of me jumping into the ice-cold Potomac!
