Greetings! V Creative would like to highlight Northland Sustainable Solutions as its non-profit of choice for the '08 Northland Bioneers Conference. Northland Sustainable Solutions produced the Northland Bioneers Conference in 2006 and 2007. All funds received via this web page will be earmarked to payoff the balance of expenses for the 2006 conference, held at MCTC in Minneapolis, where 433 people gathered to learn, dialogue and inspire actions to benefit the region.
V Creative has agreed to produce a 2008 Northland Bioneers Conference, in part to ensure that the expenses from 2006 are paid in full. The Northland Bioneers Conference is also an EXCELLENT community driven event that has already shown value to the community. Together, we have:
1. Rallied dozens of organizations to organize in an effort to education Metro area citizens on the concerns surrounding bottled water consumption.
2. Rallied hundreds of regional citizens to engage in meaningful dialogues about social and environmental well being, and the interconnection of these these topics. New events, activities, and relationships have formed as a result.
3. Engaged hundreds of volunteers to help produce this community benefit event; including a steering committee of ten who are leading the 2008 Northland Bioneers Conference.
4. Stirred hundreds of people who, after attending the Northland Bioneers Conference, now engage their own communities in invigorating conversations that lead to action benefiting social and environmental well being.
4. Inspired new collaborations among organizations and citizens.
