Message from Nadia: My Little Sister Jaelynne and I have been matched for over a year now and it has been by far the most meaningful and rewarding experience of my life. I signed up to be a Big Sister hoping that I could make a positive difference in a young girl's life and never expected that she would do the same for me!!! I feel incredibly honored to be a big part of Jaelynne’s life and look forward to having a life-long friendship with her. Message from Wade: I am officially a Big Brother! I did so because feel that mentoring young people is so important. I am really hoping to have a positive influence on Stephone's life and I know that he will have a positive influence on mine. There are so many Littles in the Twin Cities that need a Big and any donation that you can make will assist Big Brothers Big Sisters match more young people with the adult mentors that they need. The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities (BBBS) is to enrich the lives of young people through one-to-one friendships. BBBS matches children ages 7-13 with adult, volunteer mentors. Big Brothers and Big Sisters provide friendship, emotional support and hope to young people. The organization serves 10 counties in the Twin Cities metro region.
Donations go directly to providing safe, reliable and well-supported programs for our Littles and their Bigs. Gifts at any level help us continue building a stronger society – one child at a time.
