Thank you for visiting my fundraising page in memory of my sister, Amber Lynn Wakefield. Amber was only 18 years old, when she passed away after a 3.5 year battle against Aplastic Anemia.

Those who knew Amber loved her fire-filled spirit and appreciated the strength and courage that she exhibited daily in her battle against Aplastic Anemia. She was a very giving and compassionate person who wanted so very much to help people in need. 

We have been raising funds in partnership with the AA&MDS Foundation for a few years now. Once we reach our goal of $60k, we can fund a research grant in Amber's name for two years.

We hope to continue our fund raising efforts until we find a cure against Aplastic Anemia. Many thanks for your on-going support!
